I was reading up for class when I came across something I thought you might find interesting.
Did you read a Chinese article about how Confucian scholars were polled to pick the top 5 Analects in line with the idea of achieving the cultural aspect for the Beijing Olympics?
In case you haven't, they are:
(translated roughly. you have to look them up in your book again)
1)有朋自远方来,不亦乐乎;
(With friends coming from distant lands, we are beside ourselves with joy)
2)四海之内皆兄弟也;
(Within the four seas, everyone are brothers)
3)己所不欲,勿施于人;
(Don't force upon others what you do not desire yourself)
4)德不孤,必有邻;
(It is not good to be alone; we need company)
5)礼之用,和为贵。
(Gifts, when used, are valuable)
